Our History
From the very beginning in mid-1990’s, the descendants of Mzee Reuben Mulewa have wanted to stay connected to each other and work together in matters that affect the village. Having started initially as an informal family group formed ad hoc during times of bereavement, the togetherness exhibited has withstood the test of time. Taking advantage of technological developments in the realm of social media, it has made it easy to exchange ideas and foster a common understanding towards unity and self-development.

At KAWEBO, we are proud who we are. As one of our core-values is working closely in teamwork, we welcome new members through invitation via existing members. This allows the continued close collaboration to execute the various activities but also strengthening our social fabric as a community with a unified vision.
