MUUNGANO endeavors to promote a network of members with professionals in areas where members require support in day-to-day activities. Through networking, you participate in and benefit from career insights and advice from other members and career professionals. This may be in creating business connections or academic career advancement or employment opportunities or perhaps meeting colleagues in the same profession and discussing on how to develop a collective approach to community issues. We strive to offer the networking opportunities whether via virtual networking events, social media platforms, or organizing in-person events.

The youth, women and children are the foundation of the community. MUUNGANO is strongly focusing on ensuring the community is positively engaged in self-help and income generating projects that are investment opportunities to support women and the youth with a source of income. MUUNGANO’s organizational structure allows for modular growth through its flexible 3-tier system of project management. Through the network and partners, we assist in choosing a career path, transition into a new field, and explore other careers and business opportunities. We link you up with training opportunities for capacity development.

An essential part of our association is volunteering. Those small acts of showing support for the community you have become a part of can be the beginning of a success story for you and your family members. Members of MUUNGANO visit schools, hospitals, and other public community entities at least once annually to assist with the activities, be it clean-up, infrastructure development, or other social services. We want to do more! We want to establish an annual charity campaign for students in the community who are in dire need to financial grants to pay for their school needs (e.g. fees, uniform, books, etc.).

We pride ourselves with a strong social network of members. In times of grief and bereavement of the family of a member, MUUNGANO members have always spontaneously and voluntarily raised funds to assist the bereaved family. Such events and occasions help the organization strengthen its validity and its relevance both to the members and the community. MUUNGANO extends its social responsibility to assist members during other events like weddings, anniversaries, reunions, public recognition of its members, etc. We are not just an organization; we are a family!

The pride of each member is to have the opportunity to “Give-back” to his/her community. Yes, it’s about you! You were once a young boy/girl in that school or a member of that church or you were born in that hospital at the corner. Today, your workplace gives you opportunities for supporting back home in that school, church, hospital, community social place, etc. It’s your obligation to “Give-back” and MUUNGANO helps you to do exactly that. We leverage on our membership with vast professional knowledge to support you meet your individual targets. Whether you want to donate books and other academic materials/equipment for learning, or providing technical and professional assistance, or develop infrastructure, or provide awards for prize-giving day, and many more, we MUUNGANO will provide the needed support.
